I might suggest you differentiate between cordless and corded trimmers. A corded trimmer can be much more powerful and is never battery-dependent.

Because gas powered string trimmer has a powerful 2HP or 4HP motors & it's movement is not limited by the length of electric cord. String Trimmer Reviews
